What we receive
The form on this site creates an email draft in your own browser. It does not send your details to our website. If you press Send in your email app, we receive the details you choose to include: usually your name, email address, dates, number of guests, budget and description of your request. We also receive information you give us in follow-up messages or calls. Please do not send identity documents, payment card details or sensitive personal information through the form.
Why we use it
We use enquiry details to reply, prepare a quote, plan or coordinate the services you ask about, and keep records of our communications. Our basis for responding and preparing an offer is taking steps at your request before a contract. If you become a client, we use necessary details to perform our agreement and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. We do not use enquiry details for an email marketing list without asking you first.
Who sees it
Our email service provider processes emails for Joebase. Where an agreed request needs a restaurant, transport operator or other independent supplier, we may share only the relevant details needed to coordinate it. We will explain a supplier's role when confirming an arrangement. Your own email provider processes the message you send under its terms.
How long we keep it
We aim to delete enquiries that do not lead to a service within 12 months of the last exchange, unless we need them longer for a dispute. If you become a client, invoices and related business records may need to be retained for the period required by law. You can ask about the records we hold by emailing us.
Website services
This website does not run analytics, advertising trackers or an on-site payment system. The Amsterdam image loads from Unsplash and fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts those providers and may share technical information such as an IP address with them. Their own privacy terms apply to that processing. We do not make automated decisions about enquiries.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, restrict its use, or object where the law allows. Contact joebaseservices@gmail.com. You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). If our services or data practices change, we will update this notice.
